do you recommend 120 gallon to beginners with fish tanks?
cause i found a great deal on a 120 gallon fish tank with all the supplies included and i was just wondering if it is a great starter?

I have always heard the bigger the tank the easy it is to take care of. I like my 2 smaller tanks because i can have one tank with aggressive fish and one with committee fish. But i have to say i think a big tank like that would be really neat and fun to have. Than you could get bigger fish like Bala sharks Good Luck to you in what ever you decide just remember you still have to take care of the tank no matter how big or small it is.

Montague FFA is offering an alternative to ice fishing for fresh fish, and it supports local education.

Kyle Fiebig’s FFA freshmen have been raising rainbow trout in the FFA pole barn behind the high school since October.

The trout have begun to mature enough that the Montague FFA chapter is looking to sell them to the community.

The fish weigh between 16 and 24 ounces and are currently available for $6 or $8, depending on weight.

Not only do buyers beat the cold weather, but they get to hand pick their trout and there is no limit on how many can be purchased.

“We can sell the fish live or filet and freeze them,” said Montague FFA Director Kyle Fiebig. “We will do whatever the customer wants.”

There are 25 trout available for sale, with an additional 175 maturing to a size that FFA can sell.

Question: New to the world of fish tanks!

Im very interested my self now and would love a tropical tank, I have a question... Is it ok to get a heat mat, UV light and Pump and introduce tropical fish, with cold water fish? I dont know how it works at all, I was thinking of some tropical fish that dont mind relativly cooler water, with my cold water fish, which would get used to the relativly warmer water? Is this something that can be done? Is there a specific line between a "Tropical fish" and a "cold water fish" or will they live together? Obviously if i was to go for tropical it wouldnt be anything special, basicly anything that will mix with the fish i have without eating each other, then upgrade tanks in the future. I had a word with the person in the shop about the fish i have, for now i have no tropical fish so i have put my goldfish in the big tank, with their origonal water, and topped it up, i kept the temps the same and gradually got them used to it, they seem happy now! Im starting to gradually...
