Cars Race O Rama | World of Wii
My daughter, 4, played Race O Rama for 10 minutes after busting it out brand new then wanted to go back to Mario Cart. Just watching Race O Rama for myself made me feel sick. Experience the fun as you race against a friend in arcade mode which consists of mini games, lap races, missions and more. Radiator Springs Speedway, Santa Carburera which takes you to the beaches, Motoropolis City where you can experience street racing and Autovia which gives you off road racing in the desert. The graphics aren’t bad, and I’m sure there are some games that look better, but I definitely like this game for playability and just plain fun. Other than the video game having the cars characters it it, theres not much else that’s great about the video game. This game has already got more play time then games we’ve had for 6 months or more. It’s fun to play a game that you can just play for the fun of it. You have choices, and there are plenty of them. We have some Wii games that I can’t understand what the characters are saying at all. I’ve had the most fun with this just speeding down the countless tracks and roads (winding country roads, highways, dirt roads, etc. I actually found some cheats online to unlock races, custom parts, cars, etc. Eight racing environments, four brand new. Stick to mario cart or if you’re thinking of buying this one because it’s a bit cheaper than mario cart. There is so much landscape to explore and it’s fun just to go cruising down the countless roads, or go off road if you like. We have an older PC version of Cars, and this is somewhat along the line of that game, but he said he likes this one more because of the red steering wheel. Advanced competitive AI and improved drifting provide challenging, but entertaining action, while mini-games both related to the pixar universe and otherwise, provide the fun. You can also play the many mini games, as well as the circuit challenge tracks. The first few minutes of play my 7 year old declared this the worst game ever. Game features 15 new playable characters to the Cars franchise. I have to add I think the speech is allot clearer than many games we have. There is arcade mode and story mode.
