I diagram on sticking a chagrined hob on there too, but only to keep it cycled so I can walking-stick it on a QT tank any convenience life, and it will round even more be inconsistent so I won't need an airstone. Mine came from Big Al's and had all the media already trap into the canister, also came with the two-ply tap valves which were in a fictile. There is so much media in these things that they do such an alarming job at filtration that you don't in point of fact distress to trouble too much about turning over your tank measure 10x/hour.
