But, to answer your question I have a hanging feeder. Another reason why it would not be a good reason is they are nocturnal animals and they will want to be hiding/ sleeping during the day, They are the most active at night. I would say watch the hedgehog and see how much they eat before you leave it alone for 2-3 night without checking it. Hope this helps. It usually lasts about 2-3 nights. I wouldn’t buy a hedgehog for a class pet. This will stress out the hedgehog often and could cause health problems.
