Incandescent vs. Fluorescent
) I have less lighting in my larger tank and am able to successfully grow all the plants in my signature. The hood on my 5 gallon has a socket for twisting in a single incandescent bulb. What is the difference between 3 WPG incandescent and 3 WPG fluorescent. I'm having a tricky time growing anything other than swords in my 5 gallon, and I'm wondering if it's the lighting. (Right now, I have anacharis in the 5 gallon that is limping along and hasn't grown so much as an inch since I bought it a few months ago.
