2 things i thought you might want to know:1: It does fit the 5 gallon tank well, the two extra long grass pieces will float beside the filter box, just point them the direction you want them during the installation. the plant that is. the basket in the chi however will stay in position, so what i did to get around this is to simply run a twist tie through the bottom of the plant, then poke the two ends through the holes in the bottom of the basket and tie it... This coupled with the fact that the entire decoration floats (not just the lily pads and leaves) and that the lily pad extensions are tied on in a big knot means the decoration doesn’t stay in place and I had to pin it down with the rocks provided... its grid like bottom isn’t wide enough to fill the box without the planter box insert and too tight to fit with the insert in as well. The major problem with this feature is that it does not fit in the plant box. my betta is still getting to know his new plant, but he hasn’t behaved any differently since installing it. even after about 2/3rds water swap. 2: it will float.
