Fluval C3 29 Gallon Tall Kit - Life=Randomity 2.0
This is our current result after putting the kit together with fish, decorations, water, gravel, undergravel filter, and powerhead- in terms of decorations you could probably tell that we just threw everything we had between us in one tank... The included filters are el-cheapo Tetra ones with poor filter media and cheap construction, a fact made worse when I saw that they were the biowheel types. The cheapness extended to the choice of heaters, and the supposedly high end LED lighting kit looked like something that was soldered in a kid&rsquo. The Expedit ended up working surprisingly well, with space to organize the fish stuff and including wall mounts so the whole thing won&rsquo. They involve a sort of spinning watermill made of paper that is supposed to promote good bacterial population (essential for aquariums), Unfortunately, I&rsquo. The lighting was probably the biggest upgrade over all the previous aquariums we&rsquo. ve only ever seen them promote the growth of fungus and other junk which rapidly kills fish instead. I didn&rsquo.
