once again i need your help with flashing!!!
as possible to help me. my cousin moved to texas on nov1st and left me 9 juvenile so. african cichlids on my porch when i got home and found them i scrambled to switch my tetras from my 90 gallon tank to my sons 45 gallon over the next two days i... are stable never change lfs told me there is ammonia in the tank that doesnt register on test kit that gives the fish a kind of sun burn on there sides he told me to discontinue feeding them flake food for one month and feed them brine shrimp he... fluval nitrate remover,fluval bio max media for good bacteria. 25 ammonia 0 nitrite 5ppm nitrate my fish all eat normally there all very active nothing seems to be wrong other than flashing i have 1 fish my brichardi which hasnt flashed my chipoake,ps. lombardoi,rusty,red peacock,possible johanni all scrape on differnt days some will do it real bad one day and not do it for a few days but always go back to doing it. i feel terrible for them need to help them just not enough experiance with sick... 25th is the third day there is no sign of ich or other disease still they flash as though something is irratating them my water conditions at 1pm nov. and saturdays change canister 1 a month i feed my fish ocean nutrition vegi flakes in the morning and o. n. omni. other equipment in tank under gravel filter 2 power heads for oxegen, 350 magnum filter with two bio wheels from canister return thecanister is loaded with ammo carb. i left out please ask i will be online all day i really want to ease there suffering if at all possible they have already become like family again thank you. has genrally been very good but i know feeding them frozen food all the time was not suppose to be done. on water changes tank is in corner of room low traffic temps.
