It is really really tiny (this is the other reason I gave it 3 stars), I expected it to be a little bigger well much bigger. 49 for this little prefilter is rediculously expensive, its just a small piece of foam for god’s sake (thats the main reason I gave this 3 stars). The Fluval Edge looks great, fits perfectly, does the job well, and is only about $3 or so, depending who you buy it from. UPDATE: I am not using this prefilter in my main tank anymore. It is great for a fry tank or a shrimp tank where you don’t want them to be sucked into the intake, but it just reduces suction and flow too much. A lot of people make homemade prefilters, but many of them just look like crap. Imagine my dissapointment when I opened my package and saw only one… $3.
