Aquarium tank Proverbial box Protect you against | Rainwater Zone

I chose this model because it uses an air stone, and it was cheap, although in retrospect, I think the Penn Plax "Quick Draw" corner filter is probably better designed. The Triple Flow series is a little bit odd for a box filter in that the filter draws in water through three downward facing vents. This particular filter is the Lee’s "Triple Flow" small corner filter. Because the top does not feature any vents, it tends to trap air when you put the filter into the tank, and this causes it to float. Most boxes simply draw water in through a vented top. There is a tiny vent hole in the top to let this air out, but it doesn’t seem to be large enough to let it all out. When am I going to find an environmental organisation which is ready to put its money where its mouth is. That’s enough rage for a Monday morning. I have yet to find any of them who will actually come forward with the funds to provide proper facilities to protect the dive sites from anchor damage. Several representatives of so-called environmental organisations who claim to want to do wonderful things to "save the reefs" have sat in my office and extolled the virtues of their efforts. Luckily it has a little anchor on the bottom to keep it rooted in the gravel.
