Small World® Aquarium - Royal Canin Diet Dog Food - Pet Supplies
Small World® Aquarium Filter Holder for Small Tanks Overviews Small World® Aquarium Filters are specifically designed for small aquariums of all shapes and sizes up to 5 gallons. This filter includes a bracket measuring 4-1/2″x 1-1/2″x 1″ and fits in almost any small aquarium with an easy to replace disposable cartridge filter. With no moving parts, the filter lasts forever and is powered by a small air pump outside the tank and connected to the filter with flexible tubing. I change the water with carbon filtered water every week and add some water treatment. I highly recommend this for a small 2 gallon fishbowl to help keep the water clear instead of having your fish swim in stagnant water. A week later, one of the fish died, even though I have been changing the water with filtered water. Quick easy to install, Small World® Aquarium Filters keep your water crystal clear while eliminating contaminants and maintaining a healthy environment for your fish. The filter is excellent for providing the necessary aeration and filtration to keep these fish lively and disease-free, and one cartridge keeps the tank crystal clear for three months. The high quality disposable cartridge consists of carbon zeolite for chemical filtration combined with a bio foam sponge. These filters attach easily to any air pump (not included) using your existing tubing and will help keep your small aquarium healthy and looking beautiful. The zeolite crystals eliminate ammonia while the top quality activated carbon removes harmful gases odors. The filter is pretty small so I wouldn’t recommend a tank that’s much larger than 2 or 3 gallons. When I ordered a Filter replacement, I got the wrong product:I needed the SWF-1C rectangular cartridge but I ordered from ToysNGames and received the SWF2C cylindrical instead. Now that we have this filter, the fish have been very healthy and the water much clearer. I’m hoping my grandson will stop winning these fish so I can purchase the fish I actually want. I have a hexagonal three-gallon tank that is home to my grandson’s carnival-won goldfish year after year. The filters are inexpensive and super super easy to swap out after a couple weeks’ use. When we first won two goldfish for our two boys at a fair, we bought the bowl and rocks, but no filter. I don’t have the heart to flush these fish away, probably because I don’t have to regularly clean or replace the water. Suction cups hold the filter in place inside a bowl of your choosing. Again, the correct replacement filter needed is the SWF-1C.
