Android Game Review: Fish Live – Playandroid Magazine – Daily ...

Fish Live comes with a ton of different fish, all available for purchase in the fish shop, there’s also the possibility to breed different species of fish, so that you have ‘unique’ fish in your tank. You can buy and breed fish, but you also have to make sure that you clean the tank and feed you fish, otherwise they’ll die. The amount of variation offered when it comes to fish and aquaria enlarges the scope of the game, since buying, selling and breeding fish is what this game is all about. There are twelve different backgrounds and many different plants and decorations to adorn your fish tanks. Developer Canadadroid has created a game that makes your Android device into a virtual fish tank. The core tasks don’t require much time and require quite a bit of waiting (waiting for the fish to be hungry again, waiting for the fish to become full-grown), the frills can’t mask that. The time restrictions on fish becoming adults, feeding times and the energy restrictions (the latter to help your friends out) make it hard to get to the next level (and unlock new fish) fast. The store also offers twelve different types of themed background, that give your tank a fresh new look. There is a clear distinction between the background and the foreground, but the added plants and rocks do not interfere with the graphics of the fish (fish don’t get stuck behind plants or swim right through them). The fish have nothing else to do then swim, but they do come all at once when you start feeding and swim harder to get to a piece of fish food. a scrubbing sound when you clean the tank. Fish Live allows you to fill with six aquaria with thirty fish each. Fish Live is all about fish in their aquarium. There are lots of extra frills such as giving your fish love, visiting friends and buying new accessories. All in all, the graphics of this Android game are good, especially the variation and the movements of the fish make this game very likeable. The scope of tending for your fish is not really big, however, the amount of variation offered enlarges the scope of this farm game in aquarium-style. The fish are all very colorful and look very cute, however, not very lifelike. You can befriend other players of this Casual Game , feed their fish and clean their aquarium, and hopefully they’ll do the same in return. However, the core tasks of the game remain feeding your fish and keeping them alive. This fish-filled game comes with cute graphics and loads of extras. The background sounds are nice, nothing too fancy: a ‘whoosh’ when a fish swims away, when you tap the screen, as well as, when you enter the menu at the bottom of the screen. Your main task is to take care of your fish and to not let them die (this happens when you haven’t taken care of them in a couple of days).
