The 6 in 1 test strips DO NOT HAVE AN AMMONIA TEST, so if you’re buying the ammonia test only, you should disregard my review because it will not apply to the ammonia test. The pH test is only accurate if the “buffering capacity” is at least “120 ppm”, this is also not written on the outside of the product, so I guess you should want to make sure you have enough buffering capacity if you rely on the pH test. When I put the test strip in my aquarium water, the pH square is blotchy and clearly has multiple colors, so I cannot tell what the pH is, I can only assume that I have an insufficient “buffering capacity”. I purchased 100 strips of the 6 in 1 test strips. Amazon has chosen to put the ammonia and 6 in 1 test strips on the same page. It lists 6 tests and says it works with saltwater aquariums, when that is not the case, this is definitely false advertising. Tetra has false advertising on the bottle itself.
